Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) May 5, 2006 -- FLAVORx President and CEO Kenny Kramm released the names of the FLAVORx SuperKid Celebrity Judging Panel today to the press. With hundreds of nominations pouring in from across the country, the company thought it best to compile a line-up of judges that would be able to pick the best all-around child to represent the face of FLAVORx. The company carefully selected judges that are representative of a myriad of backgrounds from professional athletes and television stars to prominent members of children’s charities and organizations to judges of some of the biggest beauty pageants in the country. The diverse expertise and experience of these judges will enable the characteristics of each child to be considered carefully to best determine the new FLAVORx SuperKid.

FLAVORx believes that the new SuperKid should exemplify the fun, wit, charm, character and all around lovability that will successfully represent the company’s dedication to children’s health and well-being. Therefore, it seems only fitting that the company find a panel of successful and prominent leaders of the community to serve as fair and knowledgeable judges. Furthermore, many of the judges are involved with children’s activities, community service or children’s organizations on a day to day basis, enabling them to most effectively determine the ideal candidate to be the new face of FLAVORx.

The panel of 9 judges is comprised of: Heather Terry, Development Director of the Children’s Hospital Foundation, Kristen Harmel, Journalist and Novelist whose work appears regularly in "Teen People", "Men’s Health" and "Glamour", Betsy Mowell, Development Director for CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation, Tara Hoffman, a well-known schoolteacher from Long Island, Sammy Zammarelli, a Singer and Songwriter who has performed alongside such bands as "Third Eye Blind", "John Popper" and "Rusted Root", Dr. Ronald Pearlman, Plastic Surgeon and previous judge of the "Miss USA Pageant", Ian Naismith, Founder and Director of the Naismith International Basketball Foundation, Dave Bush, Starting Pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers and Dan Deluca, Actor on HBO’s hit show, "The Wire."

According to Kramm, “We are so excited to be working with such a diverse, knowledgeable and well-respected group of judges. We know that they have a hard job ahead of them to pick just one child from among so many great nominees. But we are confident they will do a great job!” FLAVORx believes this talented group of individuals will undoubtedly select the child most appropriate to represent the company.

In addition to the celebrity judging panel, the winner will also be determined by votes from the American public. Each finalist’s photo and story will be posted on the company website so that visitors to the website will be able to vote for their favorite nominee.
