Valencia, CA (PRWEB) November 2, 2006 -- Veteran 9-time award winning songwriter Matthew Levine has answered the call of people world-wide by writing and recording two international anthems: A House Divided, a symphonic rock anthem; and A Home That Forever Will Stand, a southern gospel anthem. The former can be heard and seen in full via a flash movie at his website www.anthemfortheworld.com. The latter can be heard on the link to his DCbaby website.

Levine began writing A House Divided 20 years ago but it was never finished to his satisfaction until this year. Levine states, "I chose a traditional musical form that has shown the test of time—the anthem—and added a bridge, which is a more modern invention. I purposely avoided philosophizing and chose images that are more action oriented and universal in almost every belief system." The anthem was recorded in Los Angeles and Valencia on 122-tracks utilizing a rock band rhythm section, orchestra, choir, and ethnic instruments.

The album of the same name also contains his southern gospel anthem, A Home That Forever Will Stand, sung by Traci Harris. It was written for people of all beliefs and has received a grand prize and two first place awards at international competitions. In total, the collection features eleven songs commenting on environmental, social, and spiritual themes from the Sting-like The Mother Tongue, the Joni Mitchellesque The Man Upstairs, to the jazzy, cinematic Beautiful featuring the spoken word of an angelic 5-year-old.

Debatably the most radio-friendly piece on the album is On The Fence. Los Angeles producer G Tom Mac's first words in response to his initial listening of it was "It's f*****g brilliant!" About compatibility issues in a couple's relationship, On The Fence, suggests The Beatles mixed with contemporary folk-pop/adult alternative.
