(NYSE: N), a leading vendor of on-demand, integrated business management software suites for the mid-market enterprise and divisions of large companies, announced today that Tsar Nicoulai Caviar, a world leader in farmed sturgeon caviar - grown in the U.S.A. - is using NetSuite's on-demand business management suite, including ecommerce shopping cart, order management, customer relationship management (including sales and marketing), accounting / finance operations and inventory management to improve its business. For more information about this story please visit www.netsuite.com/caviar.

As a pioneer in domestic sturgeon farming, Tsar Nicoulai Caviar has developed an innovative and sustainable approach to producing caviar - using tank-farming techniques to provide an abundant supply of this fine dining delicacy. Since 2004, Tsar Nicoulai has been operating in California, instead of the traditional caviar hotspot, the Caspian Sea. What the growing company really needed was a better way to manage its unique business. For one, selling caviar can be trickier than selling other items: caviar is a perishable product and therefore has to be watched closely with careful inventory management, especially if sold via an ecommerce shopping cart. Sales forecasts have to be extremely accurate; order management needs to be flawless; and customer service has to be impeccable.

Tsar Nicoulai's small staff required efficiency to process orders from its retail and Web stores quickly and accurately. But a combination of Peachtree and Goldmine wasn't keeping pace. Tsar Nicoulai had to upgrade Peachtree several times, still encountering limitations in its functions and features. It was tedious work and opened the door to mistakes. What the company needed was a powerful, integrated system that would track what and when people were ordering, and would let sales reps know when to call them and keep them aware of what the company had to offer, as well as improve visibility across their inventory management.

NetSuite offered Tsar Nicoulai a complete ecommerce, customer relationship management and accounting software suite, and gave the company room to grow down the road. By allowing Tsar Nicoulai to incorporate accounting, inventory management, sales, an ecommerce shopping cart, order management and customer service in one Web-based system, NetSuite provided easy access to the information from any of its four facilities. The company now provides its customers with excellent, efficient customer service and streamlined order management.

"NetSuite was a lot more cost-effective than other platforms, which is important for a growing company like ours," said Mats Engstrom, CEO and Co-owner of Tsar Nicoulai Caviar. "But the real beauty of NetSuite is that it gives us total access to the information we need to grow our business. In addition to being the world's leading airline restructuring firm, the company engages in strategic consulting, financial consulting, investment banking, structured finance, airline planning, labor negotiation, and a variety of aircraft technical services. In all, Seabury Group now represents the combined efforts of more than three-dozen operating companies, and with that growth and complexity came significant operational challenges.

To reduce the complexity of managing a multi-company operation, Seabury turned to NetSuite to leverage a more complete services industry software suite. The integrated, multi-location, multicurrency accounting capabilities will make it easy for the financial services holding company to roll up the 42 different companies and subsidiaries which comprise the group into the U.S.-based parent. These capabilities are not available on most mid-market software packages and would require very significant expenditure of time, money, and other resources to provide them on conventional, on-premise ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and SAP.

NetSuite's professional services automation, project accounting and time management functionality can save time and increase productivity over other silo applications. Working with NetSuite Professional Services, Seabury is implementing project accounting management controls and time management analysis tools which will enable it to track the real-time status of each of its client engagements, including complete activity costing going back to the initial prospecting engagement. The improved project accounting and time management controls promises to eliminate Seabury's invoicing lag, putting the company months ahead of the curve on business generation and...
San Mateo, Calif. and Edmonds, Wash. (PRWEB) March 13, 2008 -- NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N - News), a leading vendor of on-demand, integrated business software suites that include Accounting / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Ecommerce software for small and midsized businesses and divisions of large companies, today announced that Wolfgang Puck (WP) Coffee, a licensee of world-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck and a provider of premiere coffee products to the retail, hospitality, and office coffee service industries, has chosen to manage its core wholesale-distribution business operations on NetSuite. Additionally, NetSuite helps Wolfgang Puck Coffee manage its fast growing multi-channel sales and business operations in multiple locations. For more information about the story, please visit www.netsuite.com/wolfgang

For years, WP Coffee had used Microsoft Dynamics - Great Plains accounting software, but as a growing, nimble company, WP Coffee needed a powerful yet flexible, Web-based ERP / CRM system that could be tailored to its unique needs and scale with its growth. Specifically, it required a business software application that could manage order fulfillment to various food service and hospitality centers, each with their own models and arrangements. WP Coffee turned to NetSuite to overcome these challenges. And NetSuite Solution Provider Explore Consulting drove the implementation.

Using NetSuite's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ERP solution, WP Coffee protects itself from order errors from its business operations in multiple locations, using a combination of automatic controls and executive approvals, without sacrificing speed of execution. Additionally, NetSuite's integrated multiple location support gives WP Coffee clear and concise visibility of its nationwide operations. As a result, WP Coffee has cut down on costly and bulky paperwork handling by using NetSuite's CRM features including its built-in File Cabinet, which handles the company's critical documents and frees up valuable office space, as well as provides a record of voice mail contacts with customers. The File Cabinet is integrated with WP Coffee's internal VoIP phone system, so all voice mails are automatically saved under the customer's master record. This makes it a simple matter for the company to resolve disputes, as customers can listen to playbacks of their own order messages.

The NetSuite Business Operating System (NS-BOS) also allows WP Coffee to make its own modifications and improvements to the system. The company is now free to develop numerous, in-depth customer and operational reports, which helps WP Coffee staff perform profit-boosting analyses of the company's ongoing operations.

"The inventory functionality in NetSuite is simply outstanding," said Ryan Stoulil, general manager of Wolfgang Puck Coffee. "In addition, the SaaS model is perfect for our nimble business and we love NetSuite's flexibility. For example, we needed to add a more detailed and itemized P&L model on our general ledger, and because of NetSuite's Business Operating System, that change was made quickly, in the middle of the fiscal year, and included the changes in prior year records as well. Explore Consulting helped us do that."
