Joyce and Uchenna Agu are an amazing couple. After having experienced a devastating and severe loss of both their jobs and life savings, they figured out a way to replace both nest eggs - they entered and won CBS’s The Amazing Race. Physically fit, remarkably poised and incredibly engaging, they were labeled reality TV’s sexiest and most romantic couple after the infamous head-shaving scene in which Joyce allowed her head to be shaved on national television.

Since winning the Amazing Race the bond between Joyce and Uchenna only gets stronger. Now spokespersons for the national fertility campaign, RESOLVE the Agu’s are working hard to help provide education, advocacy and support for men and women facing the crisis of infertility. They do this as both an act of commitment and a personal journey since they too would like to have children. With the biological clock ticking for Joyce, the Agus are committed to doing what is best for them as they explore every option.

"We are privileged to have the Agus with us, sharing their experiences both as reality tv participants, but also sharing about their experience with infertility", states Penny Haynes, Organizer of the online International Podcasting Expo. "Anyone with an internet connection can attend this live interview and ask the Agus their questions, via text or with a headset microphone." The recorded podcast interview show will then be posted both at the International Podcasting Expo site and the Women Power Radio site.

(PRWEB) September 27, 2006 -- As the existence of the UN Broadcast Treaty reveals, podcasting happens not only in the US, but also in countries such as China, France, Denmark, and India. On October 20-22, 2006, the International Podcast Directories will team up to host the International Podcasting Expo. Partners include Podcast Pickle, Podemus, Podlook and Podblog.dk.

With Apple seeking trademarks for podcast related words, and the UN proposing an International Broadcast Treaty, Podcasting has moved to the forefront of international news. What started as a simple grassroots social media late in 2004 has become the center of heated debate. Yet because it is a grassroots media, it is growing steadily all over the world.

In October 2005, ABC News reported about China's Podcast Revolution among it's 60 million internet users under the age of 24. According to China Web 2.0 Review, the first Chinese Podcast Directory, Jack Gu's Podlook, had 15,000 channels and over 35,000 podcast clips back in November 2005. Podlook is one of the international Podcast Directories that is spreading the news about Podcasting by partnering with the online International Podcasting Expo.

Podlook narrated a Chinese version of the 6-Minute Video Tour of the International Podcasting Expo. Bertrand Lenotre of France's Podemus Podcast Directory and Danish journalist Karin Hoegh of PodBlog.dk narrated French and Danish versions respectively. Lenotre will present a seminar in French entitled, "Quel futur pour le podcasting en France et en Europe?", while Loic le Meur, the most famous French Blogger and Podcaster, will present, "What about European podcasting?" in English. Other foreign language seminars are presently being scheduled as well.

In the US, Gary Leland of Podcast Pickle, the world's first podcast/vidcast community, has partnered with the International Podcasting Expo. In August 2006, Time Magazine added Podcast Pickle to their list of 50 coolest websites. P. Dilly (as Gary is also known) also recently celebrated Podcast Pickle's 10,000th podcast. "So many people are just getting into podcasting, and not everyone can fly to an expo. This makes the online International Podcasting Expo the perfect tool to learn how to improve the craft," says Leland.

The event is held in online audio/visual conference rooms, with Attendees interacting in real-time via voice, text, and web browsing. Anyone with an internet connection can attend. In addition, all events are recorded for later download by seminar attendees.

"We want to encourage podcasting in every nation and language by offering easily accessible and affordable online training at our 3-D Virtual Expo site," states Penny Haynes of 1st Podcast Publishing, Expo Organizer. "At present, over 40 online seminars, workshops and...

Many must also learn how to deal with midlife overwhelm, as well as overcome physical and emotional challenges. The Women's Podcasting Expo, July 14-16, 2006 will offer a holistic set of online seminars for the many areas of a woman's life.

Women entrepreneurs are leading our generation in the creation of new businesses. Women will soon outnumber men in higher education, according to Fast Company, which in turn will result in more women in leadership positions. Women, however, want more than just success -- they want a fulfilling life, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Take Jenn Wright, for example, of Midlife Heroine. Featured in Australia's Time Magazine and Australia's 60 Minutes, she represents the growing number of women who are moving into an exciting new phase of life without boundaries. She leads midlife women, virtually and physically, on a journey that results in the amazing realization that their lives have truly just begun.

Jenn is just one of the many speakers who will be teaching and encouraging women to expand their horizons both personally and in business at the Women's Podcasting Expo. She will present, "Midlife Overwhelm? Keys to Find Your Own Spirit of Adventure." Other non-business seminars include Breaking through Barriers, and What Would You Do If You Could Not Fail?

Glenda Watson Hyatt, of WebAccessibility.biz, and author of "I'll Do It Myself: A Collection of Memories from a Woman Living with Cerebral Palsy," is a successful entrepreneur who proves that physical challenges cannot limit you unless you allow them. She will be sharing in an online public round table discussion regarding Dealing with Physical Challenges. Joining her are other women who must overcome daily personal challenges, or who help their children face their own difficulties.

At least that's the thought behind Todd Cochrane's Tech Podcasting Network. As one of the premiere podcasters and bloggers, Todd has watched podcasting from its inception. Additionally, as the first podcaster to publish a book on the subject ("Podcasting: The Do it Yourself Guide"), he knows a thing or two about it.

Todd will be presenting a live seminar entitled "Podcasting Networks - The Best Way to Market Your Podcast" on April 22 in a cross-platform audio conference room at the International Podcasting Expo. He will discuss the Marketing advantages of being aligned with a network, and share real life experiences. He will also be giving away five (5) copies of his book during the Expo.

Peter Yanke of CoolCast Radio is another believer in Podcast Networks, only he provides streaming versions of programs as well. Listeners can access podcasts anytime through a 24/7 stream, and content is optimized for even low-end dialup listeners so anyone can listen. They can sample podcast content before deciding to download it.

Kelly McCausey's Mom Cast Network offers a wide variety of women-hosted podcasts, providing talk radio shows such as Mom Cast News, Army Wife, WAHM, Homeschool, Healthy Family, Mom Writer’s, Women By Grace Radio, Scrappers, and Republican Women. Women podcasters are increasing on a daily basis, and are obviously meeting a need among podcast listeners.

Additional information about these Podcasting Networks, and other Podcasting Exhibitors, is available at http://www.InternationalPodcastingExpo.com.

The Magazine is the first of its kind to offer the magazine in both downloadable pdf and podcast format. Jennifer Kelley Large, of KelleyKruger Designs states: "Anyone who hasn't taken a look or listen, do so - this is well worth your time and the information is interesting and useful."

Interest in Podcasting is skyrocketing, as over 570 people downloaded Issue #1 of the Podcaster Central Magazine within the first 24 hours. The British Market Research Bureau (BMRB) reports that a quarter of all adult internet users will listen to a podcast in the next 6 months. Other studies project that by the year 2010, anywhere between 10 and 60 million people will be downloading podcasts.

The contributors are all members of the Ryze Podcaster Central Network, a free social networking site where they discuss podcasting news and technology, share ideas, and combine their talents to create joint podcasts. Their first dramatic production is spotlighted in the podcast version of Issue #1.

(PRWEB) April 10, 2006 -- Both podcasting and infectious diseases such as MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) are on the rise. MRSA, sometimes referred to as the SUPERBUG, kills around 5,000 human patients a year. It affects both humans and animals, with humans being the carriers who transfer it to animals.

Staphylococcus is one of many natural bacteria with which we all live, but the problem occurs when this strain of staph known as MRSA gets into the bloodstream through broken skin or a cut. It then weakens the immune system and can be fatal, as in the case of Bella, the dog for whom the Bella Moss Foundation (http://www.thebellamossfoundation.com ) is named. Bella died from complications of MRSA contracted during a routine knee surgery.

During the International Podcasting Expo’s Podcasting Marathon, the hosts from Animal Talk Naturally! (http://www.AnimalTalkNaturally.com), Kim Bloomer and Jeannie Thomason, have invited Jill Moss, Founder of the Bella Moss Foundation and former television actress in the UK, to participate in a live, online podcast. Listeners can attend and ask questions, as well as share their own pet stories. Moss will be discussing the mission of the Foundation, which is to educate pet owners on the dangers of MRSA in pets, how to protect their pets, and the need to bring uniform change to veterinary protocol.

The International Podcasting Expo (http://www.InternationalPodcastingExpo.com) is generously donating all proceeds from the Animal Talk, Naturally! ticket booth to The Bella Moss Foundation. In addition, all sponsorship proceeds for the Animal Expo Hall will also go to the Bella Moss Foundation. "I'm flabbergasted at the generosity of the International Podcasting Expo," stated a joyful Moss. "We're just happy to be part of the solution, which is what Animal Talk, Naturally! is all about!" commented Bloomer. "Podcasting has given us a great voice for the animals, and the Expo is giving us the opportunity to do this in a much more magnanimous way."

“Kim Bloomer has been involved in holistic health care and animal advocacy as both a Podcaster and Blogger for a very long time.
Despite over 14,000 podcasts at the PodcastingNews Directory, Apple's 4th quarter iPod shipments topping 14 million, and the term 'podcast' being declared Word of the Year for 2005 by the New Oxford American Dictionary, podcasting remains a relatively unknown concept. Utilizing an online Virtual Expo Center, the International Podcasting Expo will make Podcasting information, resources and services available to anyone with an internet connection.
(PRWEB) March 21, 2006 -- Podcasting is exploding. Apple shipped more than 14 million iPods in its 2005 4th Quarter, according to Robert McMillan, IDG News Service. Forecasters predict up to 60 million people will be downloading podcasts by the year 2010.

What does this mean for podcasters? It means that their targeted listening market is increasing every day. People with iPods, as well as MP3 players, PDAs and Cell Phones with digital audio players, are looking for quality content in their areas of interest.

Although the Podcasting Community includes such large organizations as IBM, Oracle, Purina, Philadelphia Eagles, Purdue, Notre Dame, CBS, Nintendo, and the NYPD, a majority of the world still has not heard the word "podcast", nor does it understand podcasting's usefulness for education and business, as well as entertainment.

The International Podcasting Expo, April 21 - 23, 2006, hopes to change that. This online Podcasting Expo will be a 48 hour, around-the-clock event, taking place within an online Virtual Expo Center. Therefore, anyone in the world with an Internet connection can attend.

Events will include a 48 hour live Podcast Marathon in a 500 person cross-platform audio conference room, with Internet presentation and recording capabilities. Podcast listeners can attend (and even participate in) live podcasts with their favorite podcast personalities. The recorded podcasts will be immediately posted on a special Expo Podcast feed.

Expo Attendees can participate in seminars and conferences, which will be held in another cross-platform audio conference room. All seminars will be recorded and posted in the Seminar Library, so late-comers can still review the sessions they missed.

Expo organizer, Penny Haynes, of 1st Podcast Publishing, wants this to be a grass roots expo that allows any podcaster from any country to participate. "The Expo is presently looking for international podcasting hosts to lead seminars and conferences in their own languages, so they can reach their own market during their own time zone. These chosen International Hosts will receive a free Exhibitor booth for their assistance in expanding the reach of podcasting around the world."

The first Exhibitors to come on board include Kelly McCausey of Work At Home Moms Talk Radio, Tammy Munson of Republican Women Talk Radio, Shane Matsumoto of Paradigm Lost Productions, and Lisa Boyd of Zeteo Solutions. The International Podcasting Expo is truly "By Podcasters and For Podcasters."
