(TEPR) Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) May 22, 2006 -- AdvancedMD Software released AdvancedEMR, its electronic medical records software at the Toward an Electronic Patient Record (TEPR) Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. AdvancedEMR, a web-based solution, is designed for small to medium sized medical practices, a segment of the market where 85% of doctors have yet to implement EMRs.
In addition to the low adoption rate of EMRs, a full 50% of those medical practices who do purchase EMR software fail to successfully implement it. “AdvancedEMR solves the low success rate by not forcing doctors to change the way they work,” said Jim Pack, President of AdvancedMD Software. “Our EMR software is easier to implement than others and it’s very intuitive for small practices. After a year of beta testing in the field, we’ve been able to create a remarkable EMR product,” Pack concluded.
