Cornerstone Local Spun Off as a Separate Entity to Empower Small- and Medium-Sized Businesses to Market Themselves Online

Cornerstone Local Marketing has been spun out of parent company as a pure local search marketing and technology company. Company is headed by Jeff Tadie, an online industry veteran with extensive local search and online ad experience.

Dulles, VA (PRWeb) November 30, 2006 -- Cornerstone Marketing Services, a leading provider of lead generation and demand creation services for high-tech B2B clients, today announced it recently spun off its local search and directory marketing division as a separate company named Cornerstone Local Marketing, LLC. The new company is headed by Jeff Tadie, who serves as its President and CEO. Mr. Tadie is a seasoned online industry executive who held a number of management roles at AOL's Digital City brand, including most recently as Director of Third Party Channels for AOL's local search and directory advertising products.

"Our team is thrilled to have the additional focus and clarity that comes with our being a pure local search company." said Mr. Tadie. "Our hundreds of current customers and our new customers will benefit from the additional investments we're making in innovative campaign management and merchant publishing and reporting tools."

The new company will continue to operate its search engine marketing business where it is an authorized channel for Yahoo! Local, Local.com and other leading online brands. It is also ramping up the development of its proprietary search and merchant publishing tools and expects to announce an acquisition of one or more localized search engine destination sites in early 2007. Cornerstone Local will post additional news pertaining to its sites, tools and other developments on its website, CornerstoneLocal.com.
