Nicholas Papain, managing partner and trial attorney of the firm Sullivan, Papain, Block, McGrath & Cannavo, P.C., will be sworn in as the 41st President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association on June 26, 2008. He will succeed Jeff S. Korek, of the firm Gersowitz, Libo & Korek.
New York City, NY (PRWEB) June 26, 2008 -- Nicholas Papain, managing partner and trial attorney of the firm Sullivan, Papain, Block, McGrath & Cannavo, P.C., will be sworn in as the 41st President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association on June 26, 2008. He will succeed Jeff S. Korek, of the firm Gersowitz, Libo & Korek.

His skills as a trial lawyer were best illustrated when he played a leading and critical role in a fee proceeding before a national arbitration panel regarding Sullivan Papain's representation of the State of New York in its action against the major tobacco companies which resulted in a record $25 billion recovery for the State.
