Study Addresses "Cross-Selling" Within the Dating, Adult Dating Arena

A scheme piloted by World Dating Partners has recently exposed some surprising results that can be used again and again in order to increase revenue as a fast and easy solution. If you own a dating site without an adult dating mirror, then your capacity to increase revenue is being severely restricted.

(PRWEB) November 9, 2006 -- During the last three months World Dating Partners has piloted a scheme in which they invited a select group of their affiliate partners to run an Adult dating service in parallel with their existing Dating sites. The results have been spectacular. Virtually all the sites involved in the pilot reported back that approximately 40% of their dating site members joined the Adult Dating service. This was exciting news, but even more important, they remained as paying members on both systems, thus generating substantial initial and recurring fees.

The scope of the pilot was extended further, by offering the same pilot group the opportunity to run other 'minority' sector sites, again alongside their core dating business. Sites designed specifically for minority groups such as the gay community, and people of Indian ethnic origin, were used in the test. The immediate effect on revenue of this cross-selling has been amazing. Most partners involved are reporting back increases in revenues of up to 50% over a 3 month period with the likelihood of further increases in the future.
