Presidential candidate Senator John Kerry presented Sheeraz Hasan with the Dr. Zakir Hussain Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts during the Centenary of Satyagraha and the 59th Anniversary of India's Independence and Awards Night held August 19 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
