Las Vegas Celebrity Impressionist 'The'Man of 1002 Voices' Survives Drowning, Cancer, Dialysis and Showroom Competitors

Las Vegas Celebrity Impressionist Larry G. Jones - 'The man of 1002 Voices' has been drowned, had terminal cancer, and complete kidney failure, but perhaps most impressive has been his ability to survive the vicious competition of showrooms in Las Vegas for over four years with no advertisement. With talent on the level of Saturday Night Live’s best celebrity and political impressionists, his show includes seventy five singer, celebrity, and presidential voice impersonations during his hour and fifteen minute show.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) September 6, 2006 -

Whether it’s surviving a terminal diagnosis of stage IV cancer, coming back to life after drowning in a river, recovering completely from one hundred percent kidney failure, or the also nearly impossible probability of keeping a show alive in Las Vegas without a million dollar ad campaign, Larry G. Jones - The Man of 1002 Voices knows what it’s like to make it through to the other side of great adversity.

Fortunes are won by few and lost by many in Las Vegas, not only from tourists trying to hit it big at the tables, but by aspiring entertainers who open and close over twenty shows every year in Sin City. There are over seventy five shows on any given day in Las Vegas and to secure a long term contract for showroom in the entertainment capital of the world is among one of the most coveted goals for any celebrity or unknown entertainer to achieve in any field. However, most of those contracts end up in deep red ink before the contracts are up. However, for Larry G. Jones another successful year led to yet another contract renewal for his highly acclaimed show which will carry on for at least another six months at Fitzgeralds Casino in downtown Las Vegas. With over 1,000 shows in four years, it seems that Jones has the longest running celebrity impressionist-comedy show in downtown Las Vegas, ever. Even rarer, is that the show has survived amongst over seventy other shows in this extremely aggressive and competitive Vegas market without a single magazine advertisement, billboard, or cab back; relying primarily on word of mouth referrals from enthusiastic show goers. Whether it’s his phenomenal medical history or his achievements as a headliner, if you ask him, Larry won’t take the credit for any of his many accounts of survival, but instead gives thanks to God.
