Why? Because there are hundreds of children dying every year. Because thousands of children are hospitalized every day. Because many of those that are hospitalized suffer from permanent brain damage and permanent loss of basic functioning.

Because more must be done in terms of awareness, education, and application, says Jim Reiser, better known as "The Swim Professor."
