Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 5, 2006 -- Network Magic, the leading home networking software provider, today announced a partnership with ZyXEL Communications Inc., to package and distribute ZyXEL wireless consumer routers with Network Magic’s management software. A leading provider of secure broadband networking, Internet connectivity and routing products, ZyXEL’s world leading routers will include Network Magic’s award winning software that makes it easy to configure and maintain a home network, set up printer and file sharing , and protect the network from intruders and viruses. When a user starts up a ZyXEL router for the first time, he/she is prompted with a simple set of screens that clearly explain how to connect the router and get the home network, including PCs and devices, online. Additionally, Network Magic enables ZyXEL users to easily detect, block and boot unauthorized and unwanted users from the network.

“More and more people want to set up home networks to share information and digital content across PCs, printers and other devices,” said Martin DeBono, vice president of sales and business development, Network Magic. “But for many people the set-up and security of home networks is a huge barrier. The combination of Network Magic with ZyXEL’s routers addresses these concerns and was created to get people up and running quickly.”
